CIDA INC. Introducing Port Arthur’s First Resilience Hub: The HK Activity Center

In 2025, Community In-Power and Development Association Inc. (CIDA) is proud to open Port Arthur, Texas’s first-ever resilience hub—the HK Activity Center and Resilience Hub.

This multi-purpose facility will serve as:

✅ An emergency shelter during hurricanes and flooding, providing a place of refuge and safety for our community.

✅ An entrepreneurial development hub, where we will mentor youth on building business plans, gaining insights into how businesses operate, and fostering skills to become future leaders.

Our goal is to inspire growth, create job opportunities, and empower the next generation of entrepreneurs within

Port Arthur and beyond. This initiative reflects CIDA’s unwavering commitment to strengthening our community’s resilience and economic opportunities.
